On-Line Missouri Real Estate Practice Course (MREP)

Missouri Real Estate Practice is a 24 hour course that must be completed prior to applying for a Missouri Real Estate License

  • Pre-requisite: Students must have completed the 48 hour Pre-Exam Course
  • Once course is paid for the student may begin the course at any time
  • MREP focuses on some of the key topics and issues that are part of providing quality results for consumers.

Missouri Real Estate Commission Rules for MREP

For Students:

Every application for original salesperson license shall be accompanied by proof acceptable to the commission that the applicant has met all applicable requirements of sections 339.010 through 339.190, RSMo and these rules, including but not limited to:

  1. Proof of successful completion of an approved forty-eight (48)-hour course of study known as "Salesperson Pre-Examination Course" prior to the date of examination and no more than six (6) months prior to the postmark date applied by the postal service or hand delivery date of license application to the Missouri Real Estate Commission;
  2. Proof of successful completion of an approved twenty-four (24)-hour course known as "Missouri Real Estate Practice Course" completed after successful completion of the "Salesperson Pre-Examination Course."

 

About Schools:

  1. Schools that offer on-line courses designed for credit must be able to show proof that a twenty-four hour course takes a minimum of twenty clock hours (ten minutes of each hour is allowed for breaks totaling four hours).
  2. A student must take and successfully pass a fifty (50) question test at the end of the course. A passing score is 75%.

Course Design and MREC Rules

To comply with the rules set forth by the MREC and for both your sake and that of the school’s this program was designed to make sure it takes the individual student the required time to complete. If you finish the required material before investing twenty clock hours you will complete your time by visiting chapter Ten of this course which ahs supplemental information that is not required. While the information is not required it can add to your education in your new career. If it takes you twenty clock hours to complete the first nine chapters you are not required to complete Chapter Ten. None of the information in Chapter Ten will be covered on the end of course test.

  5. I agree that once I sign this form the course starts for me and there are no refunds.
  6. I agree that I must pass the end of course test to receive a Certificate of Completion.
  7. I understand this course does focus on Residential Properties and Residential Sales.
